Dedicated holiday breakdown cover helpline

We provide 24-hour assistance and breakdown recovery for our European Breakdown Cover customers

Before travel abroad starts

If your vehicle breaks down in the UK on the way to your departure point, we’ll pay up to £750 for alternative car hire so you can continue your journey.

Roadside assistance and breakdown recovery

Emergency roadside repairs and tow to the nearest suitable garage – all costs, plus up to £200 to re-establish the vehicle’s security following damage by thieves or vandals.

Delivering replacement parts

Parts for your vehicle cannot always be found locally, so we’ll help to locate them and pay to have them delivered to you.

Loss of use of your vehicle

If your car breaks down during your journey and it can't be repaired quickly, we will help arrange and pay up to £750 for a hire car or, alterative travel arrangements so you can continue on your way. Alternatively, you may want to wait whilst it’s being repaired. – If so, we’ll help with any additional accommodation costs. Up to £30 per day, per person, for B&B.

If you can’t use your own vehicle to return home

If you get stuck aboard because your vehicle is still being repaired, we’ll bring you and your passengers back to the UK. We’ll also arrange to bring your vehicle back, if the cost is within the current market value.

If you become ill or injured and can’t drive home

If for medical reasons, you can’t drive home and no one else in your party is able, your European breakdown insurance will mean that we’ll arrange for a qualified driver to bring you and your passengers, plus your vehicle home.
